On 14 of April 2021 Rail Freight Corridor Orient/East-Med held a meeting for its Advisory Groups comprising both the Railway Undertakings and the Terminal Managers of the corridor. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 the RAG/TAG meeting was organised via video-conference.
The participants were delivered an informative presentation on the ‘Expectations and suggestions of Railway Undertakings’, which may contribute to improve the performance of the Corridor, increase the traction productivity and also the competitiveness of international rail freight. The presentation led to a fruitful conversation between the participants.
The representatives were given useful feedback about the issues – including pre-notification of trains, train linking, the performance of trains to Railport Arad and volatility of actual departure times - discussed at the previous meeting.
The participants were informed about the Capacity KPIs and introduced the initiative about the terminal integrated capacity offer.
It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to hear the presentation of Panteia about the Economic potential for Issues Logbook interoperability issues.
More than 30 representatives took part in the conversation.
